Static or disconnect on PC: LS30, LS40

BUY REPLACEMENT PARTS ORDER HELP SUBMIT A REQUEST

If you have issues with your LS30 or LS40 where you or others you're talking with hear crackling, static, or you have disconnects, it's possible that USB 3.0 is the culprit.  USB 3.0 is known to cause interference with 2.4GHz devices.  Here are some things to try:

  1. Move the base station to a USB 2.0 port (if available)
  2. Try disconnecting other USB 3.0 devices connected to the computer to see if the interference goes away
  3. Use a USB extension cable to move the base station further away from other USB 3.0 devices
